Submissions

The UCLA Asian Pacific American Law Journal is currently seeking submissions for publication in Volume 17. Established in 1991, APALJ is dedicated to Asian Pacific American legal issues. APALJ is one of only two law journals in the nation that focuses exclusively on the legal issues affecting APA communities. Run by students at the UCLA School of Law, the Journal seeks to facilitate discourse on issues affecting South Asian, Southeast Asian, East Asian, and Pacific Islander communities in the United States. Submissions should be original articles pertaining to the legal, social, and political issues affecting Asian Pacific American communities that will push Asian American jurisprudence toward a direction that will aid attorneys, practitioners, and students in our struggles.

Submissions should be double-spaced; use footnotes; and, follow the Bluebook Uniform System of Citation. Please feel free to email us any questions at the email address below.

APALJ requests contributing authors to disclose any economic interests or affiliations which may have influenced the positions they take in the articles.

Submissions are preferably sent by email, addressed to apalj@lawnet.ucla.edu with the word "submission" in the subject header. Manuscripts may also be sent by mail, addressed to:
