Articles Less Than Two Years Old:

Scholars and students publishing with JILFA maintain the copyright of the published article or comment pursuant to the Copyright Act of 1976. An exclusive license for the full use of the copyright to all JILFA articles and comments is held by the Regents of the University of California for one year from the article or comment's publication date or two years from the date of the agreement between the author and the Regents, whichever is shorter. The author may reserve the right to reproduce or republish the article or comment in the Social Science Research Network (SSRN, http://www.ssrn.com) or the author’s own website. Any reproduction or republication on the author’s website must credit the original publication to JILFA.

 


Articles More Than Two Years Old:

Articles published over two years ago require that the author be contacted directly for republication permission. If the requestor is unsure as to whether permission is needed from the JILFA, please contact the journal at jilfa@lawnet.ucla.edu.
